Five Ways to Take the Opportunity When… You're Not the Best at What You Do
*Are you the *best at what you do? Do you strive for excellence every day? Do you receive referral business? If not, here's five ways to take the opportunity.
1. Take the opportunity to figure out who the best is. Once you find that person, research what it is that makes her the "best" at what she does. Start doing those things better then she, and add some of your own creativity to it to make it "your own". 2. Take the opportunity to ask why? Why aren't you the best? Why don't you shoot for excellence? "Why" is a powerful question that leads to powerful answers. Ask yourself why, do it often.
3. Take the opportunity to push yourself. If you're not the best at what you do, I would suspect that you rarely step out of your comfort zone. Step out. WAY OUT. 4. Take the opportunity to commit yourself. Do you know how hard it is to be successful without commitment to success? I would venture to say it's near impossible. All those people you see making tons of money and/or being completely happy with their lives are COMMITTED to being that way. What would make YOU commit?
5. Take the opportunity to fake it. Until you do your research and start incorporating new ways of doing things until you ARE the best, pretend you are for now. Faking it supports your mind in "getting ready" and in making what you want a reality.
*If you had to rate yourself regarding how "good" you are at what you do, what would your score be on a scale of 1-10? Are you happy with that score? Is mediocrity OKAY with you? If it is, then that's fine, we all have different goals and thoughts regarding what's important to be "good" at. However, it it's not, find a way to make yourself the BEST!
